Mount Tremblant, Quebec

Annual Polymer Clay week - September 2005

We have been going to Tremblant for 6 years. Michelle, Vio's sister who died in a tragic car accident a few years ago, had the idea originally but the spot she wanted to host it at fell through. I happened to know someone with a cabin in a nearby town and we went ahead with it the first year with Vio, Lynda, Krista, Michelle and myself. Since then we have seen other clayamies attend such as, Roberta, Dan and Tracy, Marg Scott, Maer, Gera, Linda Sikitch, Lynda Gould, BB2, Barbara Lang, Trita Cohen, and Melly. Each year, seems in a way dedicated to Michelle, since it was born of her idea.

It was very hot this year and our ovens were "acting up" so finished clay products weren't as bountiful as other years, but the creativity and energy was as prolific as always.... Margi Laurin
